I'm pretty sure every girl... ok maybe not EVERY girl...  but every girly-girl has dreamed of their wedding dress. Getting the dress is by far my most anticipated moment in this whole getting hitched deal.

My only fear is that I'll like them all.... how will I ever decide? They say when you find the right one you'll just know. Here's hoping that is true because right now, just merely looking through magazines and websites, I love them ALL.

Though I must say right now I am loving Ruffles. Anything and everything Ruffles. Which is why when I saw shots of this Gorgeous Wedding over at Style Me Pretty, my heart grew 10 sizes looking at her gown courtesy of Justin Alexander.

So much fun!! I can't wait to start shopping for dresses- of course, I'll bring you along with me for the ride :) 

Save the Date!

Planning a wedding is way too much fun. There are SO many things to do, SO many cute things to think about... I hardly know where to start.

With Engagement Season here, I figured it was about time I get myself down from Cloud 9 and get some serious items scratched off the wedding list.

First on the list- Set a Date.

I mean,  His Royal Highness Prince William of Wales and Miss Catherine Middleton set their date already and they got engaged after me!! They're engaged to be married on April 29th, 2011- the least I could do was figure out my own date!! I guess I could send out an email outlining my nuptuals like Charles did:

Decking The Halls

 

With Christmas less than 2 weeks away I have become consumed with holiday decorating!! I LOVE this modern take on a white Christmas from Style at Home

Faaabulous Floors

Floors are in our bathroom!! swooooon

Gorgeous Grout!

Grout is done!! We picked 'Snow White' as our final option as the contractor recommended NOT going with Bright White. The Disney Reference helped with the decision a little bit too.

Tile Style

The Tile has gone in on the shower and the results -- fabulous.

Thanks to my fantastic contractor, who followed my CAD drawings to the tiniest detail, the shower tile looks amazing!!! He even lined up the tiny 5/8" squares at each corner so that it would have a flawless seam ** swoon ** I'll be bubble bathing in no time!!

Next is choosing the grout!!

Tile Heaven

I spent a lot of time examining tiles over the past week and I think I came up with an awesome scheme for our new Master Suite!!

Here's the game plan:

The mix of white subway tile, mosaic and glass will make a fresh pop in our bathroom. Tile goes in this week so we shall see!!!

Rub a Dub Dub

We got a new Tub!!!

Our Contractors promise that we are within 10 days of having our Master Bathroom complete. I literally can't wait.

Over the past week the sub floor has been ripped out and replaced:

 

The Shower walls and tile have been ripped out and re-drywalled:

Our new tub has arrived!!!! And is pretty much installed:

And the tile is almost ready to go up!!

 

I can't wait to show you the big reveal once this is all done!! We've been patiently waiting since Labour Day... one more week shouldn't kill us!
